Wheelchair Cushions

This extremely comfortable, ergonomic wheelchair cushion is made from a combination of gel and foam with a soft cover and non-slip bottom. The contour design has alternating ridges to improve airflow between the cushion and the user. Tie straps included.

These Luxury Fleece Topped Cushions offer the utmost in comfort. They feature a luxury pure wool pile on the upper and front edge and have a vinyl underside. The cover is zipped so it can be removed for washing.

Ninian comfort cushions contain Actifresh, an antimicrobial additive that is incorporated in to the formulation itself during production. This means it retains its effectiveness even after regular cleaning. Tests show that Actifresh is effective against the spread of MRSA, E coli and other bacteria on its surface. Clostridium Difficile can not multiply on the cushions surfaces under normal aerobic conditions.

The cushion is 50mm (2") deep and available in 2 sizes:

457mm x 457mm (18" x 18").

Designed to fit neatly within the majority of wheelchairs, this comfortable cushion has a foam pad at the base and gel filled nodules on the surface for additional comfort and air circulation. The underside has a waterproof backing to protect the chair. Fitted with two ties to secure the cushion to the wheelchair and prevent movement.

The three layers of dense foam in this wheelchair cushion are highly durable and provide superior pressure reduction for individuals up to 318kg. Covered with a removable nylon/vinyl cover that is moisture resistant, flame retardant, and antimicrobial. Cover wipes clean with mild soap and water and is disinfected with a bleach solution. Non-slip base and positioning straps keep the cushion in place.   Latex free.

This real wool fleece brings warmth and comfort. It is machine washable, fire-retardant, and is secured with strong fabric ties to prevent slippage on the wheelchair.

This quilted, fibre filled cushion, covers seat, back and arms of either chair or wheelchair. The cotton cover has a waterproof backing on the underside.

Development of the original Gel cushion has lead to this unique Gel Plus cushion that combines combustion modified high resilient foam with visco elastic heat sensitive foam and silicon gel, to provide the user with the ultimate in comfort. The cushion cover offers a PU coated 2 way stretch fabric top/side panels and non-slip base with sewn seams and zip opening.
